Ecosee (ES 100)
Ecosee (ES 100) is a bio soil amendment and plant growth booster that was formulated in South Korea by San Bio Co. Ltd (Parent Company) and comprises three principal bacteria namely;
Lactobacillus acidophilus
It is is a type of bacteria found in your intestines. It’s a member of the Lactobacillus genus of bacteria, and it plays an important role in human health.
Bacillus subtilis
Bacillus subtilis, known also as the hay bacillus / Bacillus subtilis is a Gram-positive, rod-shaped bacterium that forms heat-resistant spores. It is commonly found in the soil. It is nonpathogenic.
Saccaromyces cerevisie
Saccharomyces cerevisiae is a species of yeast. The species has been instrumental in winemaking, baking, and brewing since ancient times. It is believed to have been originally isolated from the skin of grapes.
TEST REPORT | LIQUID BIO ORGANIC FERTILIZER
This test was carried out in the process of finding a good alternative for the chemical fertilizer and began with curiosity of bio- fertilizer as a replacement of the chemical fertilizer. This report is a result of farming with usage of the liquid bio organic fertilizer from May to July 2015 for 3months in a farm in Kinangop. The bio organic fertilizer was introduced by ECOSEE Africa Industries Limited in the beginning of the year. The farmer used 20 litres of the fertilizer on the farm. The farm is placed at Kinangop in central Region, Kenya.
The treatment effects also reflected in the cabbage head diameter where larger values were recorded in produce from plots treated with 200kg or 60kg/acre of DAP together with 200L/ha of Ecosee 100 (Table 5). This contrast is clearly revealed by the control plots that had a low mean value for head diameter (15.57 cm).
